I’ve been working on the admin side for Trimsaran tyres and servicing it’s based loosely on tiny_mce as an editor together with some bespoke page management pages which allow him to edit his pages in a browser using a secure area. Used the ibrowser plugin to allow him to upload pictures on his site and it all seems much better than the previous release where it was a mixture of frontpage for editing the main pages and some php custom pages.
The system consists of a number of php pages with options to add / amend menu options and change the order of items on the menu together with a custom page which he can use to change the contents of any of the pages.
Unfortunately i can’t use mod-rewrite on his hosting company – otherwise I could make the presentation even nicer for the users.
